Grade 8 Night at Corpus Christi

Dear Parents/Guardians:

Corpus Christi Catholic Secondary School is going to be a “home” to your child for the next four years. We want all students to feel supported and confident during this transition to high school because we know this is one key to success in school.

We cordially invite your son or daughter to attend our annual BeLonghorn Night where he or she will have the chance to mingle with other Grade 8 students, meet next year’s Gr. 11 Mentors and familiarize himself or herself with the school itself.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 29 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

1. Is a permission form needed?

YES. We will require permission forms AT THE DOOR. If you haven’t received a hard copy, you may click here to download the form. Attendance at this event is dependent on the presentation of a signed permission form upon arrival.

2. Is food provided?

YES. Pizza and drinks will be provided for dinner as well as nut-free desserts.3. What will students be doing from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m.?

We believe the more frequently our Grade 8 students visit Corpus Christi, the easier the transition to Corpus Christi will be in September. Building friendships with Grade 8 students from other schools as well as relationships with our Grade 10 and 11 Student Leaders will ensure that your son/daughter will see many familiar faces in September!
